Privacy at a glance

Jumpin’ For Tacos respects player privacy. This policy explains information handled when you visit the website, play the browser game, or ask for support.

  • No player accountsThe current web game has no sign-in or cloud save.
  • Local settings and bestsGame preferences and completed-run records stay in browser storage.
  • Google AnalyticsVisits and basic technical usage information are measured.

Information stored on the device

The browser game uses localStorage on your device. Depending on the level, it stores:

  • Music and sound-effects volume and mute choices
  • The reduced-shake preference
  • Per-level personal-best results, such as score, completion time, run count, medal, or level-specific result values

The current web build does not save a live mid-level checkpoint or send these local records to a Jumpin’ For Tacos account or cloud-save service. Reloading restarts the current run.

Local information remains until the site data is cleared in your browser. Clearing browser/site data removes it. A future native app may also remove local information when the app is deleted, subject to the device platform’s behavior.

Analytics and technical information

The current website and playable levels load Google Analytics, a service provided by Google. Its default implementation can process information such as user and session counts, approximate geographic area, and browser or device information.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers, including a first-party client identifier, to distinguish visits and sessions. The site does not contain its own custom cookie-setting code.

The current game source does not send named custom gameplay events to Google Analytics. Google Analytics may still collect default events and any enhanced measurement enabled in the property’s settings. The source code cannot reveal the property’s retention or enhanced-measurement settings.

A separate no-index music-studio page also requests fonts hosted by Google. Opening that page can send ordinary request information, such as IP address and browser details, to Google so the font can be delivered.

Information you voluntarily provide

If you contact Jumpin’ For Tacos for support or a privacy question, the information in that communication may be received. That can include your email address, message, device or browser details, level information, and the troubleshooting steps you choose to share.

Please do not send passwords, financial information, precise location, or other sensitive information in a support request.

How information is used

Information is used as reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate and deliver the website and game
  • Keep game preferences and completed-run records locally
  • Understand visits and technical performance
  • Diagnose bugs and improve gameplay
  • Respond to support and privacy requests
  • Protect the site and maintain reliable service

Service providers and sharing

Google processes Analytics information and font requests as a service provider under its own terms and privacy practices. Website hosting and delivery providers may also process standard request information, such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and secure the site.

The current site has no advertising network, data-broker integration, user-account provider, or feature for selling player information. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or address fraud or security issues.

Data retention and deletion

  • Local game settings and bests remain on the device until the relevant browser/site data is cleared.
  • Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, diagnose recurring issues, and maintain appropriate records.
  • Analytics information is subject to the retention configuration of the Google Analytics property and Google’s applicable practices. That configuration is not visible in the public source code.

For questions about deleting a support communication, use the contact method below. Clearing your own browser/site data is the direct way to delete locally stored game information.

Children’s privacy

Jumpin’ For Tacos is a general-audience game. The current game does not ask players to create accounts, enter an age, or directly submit personal information while playing.

If a child sends a support communication, that message may contain information the child chooses to provide. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information can use the contact method below to ask about it. This statement does not make a claim about App Store age ratings, Kids Category eligibility, or a parental-consent system.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, game, analytics configuration, support process, or a future iOS application changes. A revised policy will show a new effective date on this page.
