Controls and devices

Playing the game

Touch controls

On-screen movement and jump controls are built into every playable level. On iPhone, landscape orientation gives the game the most room.

Keyboard controls

Move with the left/right arrow keys or A/D. Jump with Space, W, or the up arrow.

Game controllers

The current web build uses the browser Gamepad API and supports Xbox/standard controller mappings when the browser and device expose them.

iPhone and desktop browsers

The game is designed for current iPhone browsers and modern desktop browsers on PC. No account or download is required for the web version.

Common fixes

Troubleshooting

The game does not start or finish loading
Reload the page and confirm that your connection is stable while the game’s artwork and audio load. If it still stalls, update the browser or try a fresh browser tab.
Audio is not playing
Browsers may wait for a tap, click, or key press before allowing audio. Start the level, then check the in-game mute and volume controls as well as the device volume.
Touch controls are not responding
Rotate the phone to landscape, tap once inside the game, and try the on-screen buttons again. Reloading the level can clear a stuck touch or pointer state.
A controller is not detected
Connect the controller, press one of its buttons, and reload the level. A standard-mapped controller and browser Gamepad API support are required; availability varies by browser and device.
Performance or frame rate is uneven
Close other busy tabs or apps, turn off battery-saving mode when practical, and use the game’s reduced-shake setting. A current browser usually gives the smoothest result.
Restarting or clearing saved information
Reloading restarts the current run but normally keeps saved settings and personal-best results. Clearing this site’s browser data removes those local records; there is no account or cloud restore in the current web build.
